Ask friends, relatives, co-workers and businesses to sponsor you as you Ride for Rescues. This is our biggest fundraiser of 2008 and we need your help to make it a success!
Ride Info
Meet at Cook County Forest Preserve, Skokie Division, Harms Woods Picnic Grove #5. Check into the registration tent at any time between 8:30-9:30am. Ride the leisurely 15-mile course beginning at Harms Woods, riding north and turning around at the Skokie Lagoons. We'll have a pit stop mid-way with snacks and drinks. The ride takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete, participants should start the course between 8:30am to 10am to ensure you'll be back for the picnic brunch and activities featuring ARFhouse Chicago Adoptable dogs, dog training demonstrations, mini-massages, a children's station, and more. ARFhouse Chicago encourages safe riding, helmets are recommended for all riders.
Please, no dogs. ARFhouse Chicago will have several adoptable dogs at the event for everyone to interact with.
Registration
Riders will receive our signature ARFbag containing one commemorative Ride for Rescues t-shirt and other goodies as supplies last. The registration fee is $30 and be sure to register early!! You can register right here with credit card or you can print the registration packet and mail the registration form with check to ARFhouse Chicago, PO Box 220491, Chicago, IL 60622.
Once registered for the event you can create your own fundraising page on Firstgiving or use the sponsor sheet available in the Registration Packet. You can email or call for more information 773.305.1960 or events@arfchicago.org. You can also click on the "Donate" button below to register for the event.
Don’t live in Chicago? Can’t make July 20th? Not to worry, you can also participate as a virtual rider and raise funds online! Just click here to register as a Virtual Rider and set up your personal fundraising page! There is no registration fee for Virtual Riders, just set up your Firstgiving Fundraising Page and you're all set! T-shirts and goody bags are only available to Virtual Riders as supplies last.
Great Prizes
All participants are encouraged to raise $100 or more in donations by creating their own Firstgiving Page. Start collecting today! There will be great prizes for the Top 3 people with the most pledges!

Harms Woods, Skokie Division, is located on Harms Road between Golf Rd. and Old Orchard Rd. in Glenview, IL.
